For those of you who spent Easter in the East Bay, wasn't it a lovely day? My mom and I were dying to get out of the house so we took a drive to Half Moon Bay. We went on several scenic walks that had stunning views of the ocean, and we even encountered some wildlife (harbor seals and beach birds). Surprisingly, a lot of places were open such as chowder shacks and coffee shops. Taking day trips helps me step back from my busy daily routine and savor the day. My family doesn't have any traditions so the day was open to endless possibilities and I'm glad I spent it where I did. What did you do for Easter?
