My "new" typewriters (given to me from my grandparents) were laden with dust after chillin' in the garage for so many years so I decided it would be a good idea to have them serviced. I chose to leave them in the care of California Typewriter in Berkeley because the reviews are outstanding. Of course, a trip to Berkeley, like every other, became an adventure. We stopped at a cafe a few blocks down and filled up on hot panini's and peach tea.
